We work on Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, and Sage as accredited partners. If you already use one of those platforms, we connect to your existing account. If you are not on cloud software yet, we can set you up and migrate any historical data across. Dext is available for receipt capture if you want to remove paper from the process entirely.
How is bookkeeping priced and what is included?
Bookkeeping is quoted based on your monthly transaction volume and the complexity of your accounts — there is no single fixed rate because a sole trader with 30 transactions a month has very different needs from a limited company processing hundreds. The quote covers monthly reconciliation, bank feed management, and a plain-English monthly summary. Request a quote and we will come back with a specific figure for your situation. If you find a lower price elsewhere, we will match it.
My books are months behind. Can you still help?
Yes, and it is one of the more common situations we encounter. Catch-up and clean-up work is part of the service. We will assess how far behind the accounts are, quote for the catch-up, and once everything is reconciled we move into a regular monthly rhythm. The catch-up fee is separate from the ongoing monthly rate and is quoted upfront — no surprises.
Is there a long-term contract or lock-in period?
No long-term contract. The service runs on a rolling monthly basis and you can leave at any point. If you decide it is not working, you leave with fully reconciled, up-to-date books — nothing owed and nothing lost. We prefer clients who stay because the service is working, not because leaving is complicated.
Can you handle bookkeeping for a business with multiple income streams or complex transactions?
Yes. We work with e-commerce sellers, property investors, contractors, hospitality businesses, and companies with payroll, VAT, and CIS running alongside their bookkeeping. Where the picture is more complex, the quote reflects that. It is worth describing your setup when you request a quote so we can give you an accurate figure rather than a ballpark.
