Sound familiar?

Still figuring out your accounts as you go?

A lot of founders get to their first filing deadline before they have found an accountant they trust. By then, records are incomplete, deadlines are pressing, and the figures are unclear. It is not a crisis, but it is considerably more work than it needed to be. Getting the foundations right early makes everything that follows much simpler.

  • No clear picture of what your tax bill will be this year
  • Statutory deadlines looming with records that are not ready to file
  • Unsure whether your company needs to register for VAT or PAYE yet

What sorted looks like

When your accounts are current and your compliance is handled, you know where you stand financially and you are not spending Sundays on spreadsheets. Below is what that looks like in practice.

  • Your tax position is visible months before the payment deadline
  • Accounts and statutory filings prepared and submitted before deadlines, not after
  • VAT and PAYE thresholds monitored so you are registered at the right time
  • Fixed fees on the most common filings, with clear quotes for everything else

Working with Prad is an absolute lifesaver as someone just starting out in the business world. Being new to everything, it can feel incredibly overwhelming, but Prad makes the whole process straightforward and stress-free. His knowledge of UK accounting and HM Revenue & Customs is second to none, and he always takes the time to explain things clearly rather than leaving me confused. Having someone I can fully trust to handle my filings means I can focus on actually growing my business rather than drowning in paperwork. Why Wings Online Filings

What makes working with us different

Three things that matter most to early-stage businesses: clarity on cost, clear explanations, and an accountant who stays involved.

📋

Fixed fees on common filings

Year-end accounts and corporation tax for a standard limited company is £250. Confirmation statement filing is £70. Dormant company accounts are £50. These are published prices, not estimates that change once the work starts. For bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll, we quote upfront based on your requirements before any work begins.

💬

Numbers explained in plain English

Most founders do not have an accounting background, and they should not need one. We explain what the figures mean, what your tax liability is, and what decisions are worth making before the filing date. You leave each conversation knowing more than you did going in, which is frankly how it should be.

🤝

A long-term partner, not a filing service

We work with businesses from their first year through to growth and scale. That means the same accountant understands your structure, your history, and your plans, rather than reviewing your paperwork cold every twelve months. We are also an Authorised Corporate Service Provider registered with Companies House, AML-supervised by HMRC, and covered by professional indemnity insurance.

Getting started

Up and running in four steps

Most clients are fully onboarded within a few days of first contact. The process is straightforward and we guide you through each part.

1

Request a Free Quote

Fill in the short form on this page or call us directly. Tell us roughly where your business is, what you need, and when your next deadline falls. We will come back to you with a clear quote the same day.

2

We Review What You Have

If your records are up to date, we can often get started immediately. If there are gaps or catch-up bookkeeping required, we will tell you exactly what that involves and what it costs before any work begins.

3

We Take on the Work

Once you confirm, we handle the filings, returns, and compliance from here. We will ask for the information we need in plain terms and keep you updated at each stage. You do not need to know your way around HMRC’s systems.

4

Your Accounts Are in Order

Filings submitted, tax position clear, deadlines managed. You know what you owe, when it is due, and what comes next. Considerably less to think about than before you called.

Questions

Things founders usually ask us first

We have only just incorporated. Do we need an accountant straight away?+

Not necessarily on day one, but earlier is generally better. Your first statutory accounts are due nine months after your accounting reference date, and corporation tax is due even sooner. Getting your bookkeeping set up correctly from the start means you are not unpicking a year of records under pressure later. Most founders find it saves considerably more time and cost than it adds.

What does startup accounting actually cost with you?+

Year-end accounts and corporation tax for a standard limited company are £250 as a fixed one-off annual fee. Confirmation statement filing is £70. For ongoing bookkeeping, VAT returns, and payroll, we quote based on your volume and frequency before any work starts. There are no hidden fees and the quote does not change once we begin.

Our records from the past year are not in great shape. Can you still help?+

Yes, and this is a fairly common starting point. We will review what you have, identify any gaps, and give you a clear picture of what catch-up work is needed and what it will cost. Some clients come to us with twelve months of unreconciled transactions; others just need their year-end accounts prepared from reasonably tidy records. Either way, we will tell you exactly what is involved before we start.

Is there a long-term contract or minimum term?+

No. For one-off filings such as year-end accounts or confirmation statements, you simply pay the fixed fee and we do the work. For ongoing services such as bookkeeping or payroll, we ask for a month’s notice to wind down cleanly. There is no lock-in and no penalty for leaving.

Can you help us with EIS or SEIS if we are raising investment?+

Yes. We can assist with EIS and SEIS Advance Assurance applications and Compliance Statements. These are quote-based depending on the complexity of your structure and the stage of the raise. It is worth getting these in order before you start conversations with investors, as the timelines from HMRC can be longer than founders expect.

How do I know what my tax bill will be before HMRC tells me?+

When your bookkeeping is current, we can give you a reliable estimate of your corporation tax liability well before the payment deadline. For director-shareholders, we also review your salary and dividend position annually so you are not surprised by a personal tax bill in January. The goal is that you know the numbers before you need to act on them.
