Sound familiar?

Not sure when your confirmation statement is due?

The confirmation statement deadline catches a lot of directors out. It falls on the same date every year, but with everything else going on in a business, it is easy to miss. Companies House does not chase you with reminders, and a missed filing can trigger a penalty or, in persistent cases, a strike-off notice. It is one of those obligations that feels minor until it becomes a problem.

  • Unsure whether your company details at Companies House are still accurate
  • No reliable system for tracking when the annual deadline falls
  • Not confident about what the CS01 form actually requires you to confirm

What a handled confirmation statement looks like

We review your company record, make sure everything is accurate, prepare the CS01, and submit it to Companies House on your behalf. You get confirmation it is done, with the deadline off your list for another year.

  • Your company details checked and updated before filing, nothing outdated left on the register
  • Annual due-date tracked on your behalf, with reminders before the deadline arrives
  • CS01 form prepared accurately and submitted to Companies House, with confirmation sent to you
  • Fixed fee of £70, one-off, with nothing else to pay unless you need additional work

Why choose Wings Online Filings

A few things worth knowing before you decide

Confirmation statements are a small but important compliance obligation. Here is what makes our service worth using rather than trying to manage it yourself.

🏛️

ACSP-Registered with Companies House

Wings Online Filings is an Authorised Corporate Service Provider, registered directly with Companies House. That means we are authorised to file on your behalf and are subject to anti-money-laundering supervision by HMRC. For a filing that goes directly onto the public register, that credibility matters.

📋

Fixed Fee, No Surprises

The fee is £70, one-off, and covers everything from the initial review through to confirmed submission. There are no add-on charges for checking your company record or for the submission itself. If you need anything outside the standard scope, we tell you the cost before proceeding.

🔔

Your Deadline Tracked for You

Most directors do not know their confirmation statement due date off the top of their head, and Companies House does not send reminders. We keep track of your annual deadline and let you know in advance, so the obligation does not catch you off guard at a busy time of year.

Getting started

Your confirmation statement filed in four steps

The process is straightforward. Most clients spend less than ten minutes providing us with what we need, and we take care of the rest.

1

Get in Touch or Request a Quote

Use the form on this page or call us on 020 8089 1876. Tell us your company name and number, and confirm your current contact details. That is all we need to begin.

2

We Review Your Company Record

We check what Companies House currently holds for your company against the details you have provided. If anything is out of date, we flag it and discuss what needs to be corrected before the statement is filed.

3

We Prepare and Submit the CS01

Once everything is confirmed as accurate, we prepare the CS01 and submit it to Companies House on your behalf. You do not need to log in to the Companies House portal or handle any of the paperwork yourself.

4

Done, with Confirmation Sent to You

You receive confirmation that the statement has been accepted. Your company record is up to date, your annual obligation is met for another year, and one more thing is off your list.

Questions

What most directors ask before getting started

What exactly is a confirmation statement and who needs to file one?+

A confirmation statement (formerly the annual return) is a document every UK limited company and LLP must send to Companies House each year. It confirms that the information held on the public register is still accurate, covering things like your registered office address, directors, shareholders, and share capital. It does not report on financial performance, it simply confirms the company’s details are current. Filing is a legal requirement, and a missed deadline can result in a fine or, in persistent cases, the company being struck off the register.

What does the £70 fee include, and are there any additional charges?+

The £70 covers everything needed to complete the filing: a review of your current Companies House record, preparation of the CS01 form, submission to Companies House, and confirmation sent to you once it has been accepted. The Companies House filing fee itself is separate and currently £34 (or £13 for same-day online filing), which is paid directly to Companies House, not to us. If your company details need updating before filing and that requires additional work beyond the standard scope, we will tell you the cost before doing anything.

My company details at Companies House are out of date. Can you sort that at the same time?+

Yes, reviewing your record is part of the standard process. Before we file the confirmation statement, we check what Companies House currently holds and compare it against the details you provide. If something needs correcting, such as an old address, a change of director, or an updated share structure, we will discuss what is involved and handle the update as part of the engagement. If the changes require a separate filing (for example, updating officer details via a CH01 or AP01), we will let you know and confirm any additional cost first.

Do I need to commit to an ongoing service, or can I just use you for the confirmation statement?+

There is no ongoing commitment required. You can engage us solely for the confirmation statement filing, pay the fixed fee of £70, and that is the end of it. Many clients do return the following year, and some ask us to handle their company accounts and corporation tax at the same time, but that is entirely your choice. There is no contract and nothing to cancel.

How long does it take to file once I provide the information you need?+

In most cases, once we have the information we need from you, the filing is prepared and submitted within a few working days. If your company record is straightforward and nothing needs updating, it can be faster than that. We will give you a realistic timescale when you get in touch, based on your specific situation.

What happens if I have missed my confirmation statement deadline already?+

Filing late is better than not filing at all. Companies House can pursue companies that persistently fail to file, but in most cases catching up promptly resolves the issue without further consequence. If you are behind, get in touch and we will confirm the current status of your filing obligation and what needs to happen to bring it up to date. We will not overstate the risk, but we will be honest about where things stand.
