Sound familiar?

Still not sure what your tax bill will be?

Running a London business is absorbing enough without the added weight of wondering whether your tax return is correct, whether you have missed a deadline, or whether HMRC is owed more than you have set aside. Most business owners only find out the answer to those questions when someone tells them the bill. That is a position worth avoiding.

  • Tax bill arrives as a surprise because no planning was done during the year
  • Deadlines creep up while the books are still incomplete and unreconciled
  • Paying an accountant for compliance but getting no visibility into actual tax liability

What on top of things looks like

Your tax position is visible throughout the year, not just at filing time. Deadlines are tracked and filed ahead of schedule. The fee is fixed and stated before any work begins.

  • Tax liability calculated and communicated well before the payment date
  • Accounts reconciled and filings submitted before the deadline, with confirmation
  • Regular updates on your tax position so nothing sits unresolved until year end
  • Fixed fees published upfront — corporation tax return from £250, self assessment from £150

Why Wings Online Filings

What makes this practice different

There are many accountants in London. The ones worth working with are qualified, specific about pricing, and available when you have a question.

💷

Fixed fees, published before you commit

Corporation tax and company accounts are £250. Self assessment is £150. Dormant company accounts are £50. These are stated on the website and do not change when the work is underway. If another firm quotes lower, we will match it — and that is in writing.

📋

Tax explained, not just filed

Completing the return is the minimum. What business owners actually need is to understand what they owe, why, and what can be done about it before the deadline. Every engagement includes a plain-English explanation of the numbers alongside the filing — so you leave each year knowing what happened and what to expect next.

🏛️

Qualified, regulated, and independently verified

The team holds ACA qualification and the practice is an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) registered with Companies House, AML-supervised by HMRC, and covered by professional indemnity insurance. These are the basics of a properly run firm. They are not universally present in the online accountancy market.

Getting started

Up and running in four steps

The process is designed to be light on your time. Most clients are fully onboarded within a few working days of their first contact.

1

Request a free quote

Fill in the short form on this page or call 020 8089 1876. Tell us your business type, what you need, and roughly where your books are currently. You will receive a fixed quote the same day, Monday to Friday.

2

We review your position

Once you confirm, we carry out a brief review of your current records, identify any gaps or catch-up required, and confirm the scope of work. If catch-up is needed, that is costed and agreed before anything starts.

3

We handle the filings

We prepare your accounts, tax return, and any associated submissions. You will be asked to review and approve before anything is filed with HMRC or Companies House. Straightforward questions answered on the day.

4

Your tax is under control

Filings submitted, confirmations received, and your next deadline noted. Your tax position is visible, your liability is known, and the paperwork is handled. Which is, frankly, the way it should be.

Questions

Things London business owners usually ask

Do you work with London businesses entirely online, or do I need to come in?+

Everything is handled remotely. There is no requirement to visit an office at any stage. Documents are shared securely online, accounts are reviewed and approved digitally, and any questions are answered by phone or email. The London office address is registered at Covent Garden, but the service is delivered online to clients across the whole of the UK.

What does it actually cost, and is there anything not included in the fee?+

Corporation tax and company accounts are a fixed £250 annual fee. Self assessment is £150. Dormant company accounts are £50. Confirmation statement filing is £70. These fees include preparation, tax planning, and submission — there are no additional charges for phone calls, email queries, or minor revisions. VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping are quoted separately based on your volume and frequency. The quote you receive before starting is the fee you pay.

My books are behind and not in great shape. Is that a problem?+

It is a common starting point, not a barrier. Catch-up bookkeeping and account clean-up are services we provide regularly. Once we understand the current state of your records, we will confirm what is needed to bring them up to date and agree a fixed price for that work before beginning. Most clients start with books in some state of disarray and leave with considerably less to worry about.

Is there a minimum term, or can I leave whenever I want?+

There is no minimum contract period. Fixed-fee filings are one-off engagements — you pay for the work done and have no ongoing obligation. If you are on an ongoing package for VAT, payroll, or bookkeeping and it is not working for you, you can leave with appropriate notice and your records will be returned in full. Nothing is held back.

Can you handle director’s tax returns as well as the company accounts?+

Yes. Director self assessment returns are a routine part of the service. If you are a company director, your personal SA100 return covers dividends, salary, pension contributions, and any other income sources. Many clients have both their company accounts and director’s personal tax return handled by the same team, which avoids the gaps that tend to appear when different firms are looking after different parts of the picture.

Will you tell me my tax liability in advance, or only when the return is filed?+

Tax planning is included in the fixed fee, not charged as an extra. During the accounts preparation process, we will calculate and communicate your corporation tax or income tax liability before the return is filed, giving you time to plan your cash flow accordingly. Surprises are largely avoidable when the books are current and the numbers are reviewed properly — which is the point of the exercise.
