Sound familiar?
Still not sure what your tax bill will be?
IT contractors running through a limited company face a specific set of moving parts: corporation tax, a director self assessment, dividend paperwork, and IR35 sitting in the background. Most contractors know roughly what they owe — they just never know precisely when, or whether they have claimed everything they should. That gap between rough and precise is where money gets left on the table.
- ✕ No clear picture of your corporation tax liability until the deadline is close
- ✕ Dividend and salary split chosen by guesswork rather than calculation
- ✕ IR35 status uncertain and nobody has properly reviewed your contracts
What sorted looks like for IT contractors
Your corporation tax position is visible months before the deadline. Your dividend and salary mix is structured around what you actually earn. And your IR35 exposure is reviewed, not ignored. Which is, frankly, the way it should be.
- ✓ Corporation tax liability calculated and visible well before the filing deadline
- ✓ Dividend and salary split optimised each year based on your actual figures
- ✓ Contract review and IR35 guidance before you take on new engagements
- ✓ Company accounts and tax return for a fixed fee of £250 — no surprises

Why IT contractors choose us over a general accountant
Specific knowledge, fixed pricing, and a practice that communicates in plain English — not accounting jargon.
No Explaining How Contracting Works
We work with IT contractors operating through limited companies every day. PSC structure, dividend and salary mix, allowable expenses for home working and equipment — you will not need to brief us on the basics. That saves time and reduces the chance of something being missed.
IR35 Awareness Built Into Every Review
IR35 is not something we treat as a footnote. When we review your accounts and tax position, your contractor status and working arrangements are part of the conversation. You will know where you stand before an HMRC enquiry makes the question urgent.
Fixed Fees, Published Upfront
Company accounts and corporation tax return: £250. Director self assessment: £150. Both prices are published and fixed — no hourly rates, no scope creep, no invoice that is larger than the quote. And if you find a lower price elsewhere, we will match it.
Up and running in four straightforward steps
Most contractors are set up and handed off within a week. You do not need to have tidy books before you get in touch.

Fill in the short form on this page or call us on 020 8089 1876. Tell us your company structure, what you need, and roughly what state your books are in. We will come back the same day with a fixed quote.
We review what you have
If your books are behind or your previous accountant left things in a state, we assess what catch-up work is needed and quote for it separately — no assumptions, no surprise additions. You approve the scope before anything starts.
We handle the filings
Your company accounts, CT600, director self assessment, and any other compliance work are prepared and submitted by us. We will ask for the information we need via email or a short call. The process requires considerably less of your time than you are probably expecting.
You know where you stand
Your tax position is visible, your filings are done, and your dividend and salary split is structured correctly for the year. Less time guessing what HMRC is going to ask for. More time contracting.
“Professional, efficient, confidence that everything is taken care of.”
Things IT contractors usually ask us
Do you understand how IT contractor limited companies work — PSC structure, IR35, and contractor expenses?
Yes. IT contractors operating through a personal service company are a significant part of our client base. We understand the PSC structure, the dividend and salary trade-off, allowable expenses for home working, equipment, professional subscriptions, and the implications of IR35 for both inside and outside determinations. You will not spend the first call explaining how contracting works.
What does it actually cost and what is included?
Company accounts and corporation tax return (CT600, P&L, balance sheet, HMRC and Companies House submission, and tax planning) is a fixed fee of £250 per year. Director self assessment (SA100 and SA302, all income sources, allowances and reliefs, and payments-on-account advice) is a fixed £150 per year. Bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll are quoted based on your specific requirements. Everything is agreed upfront — no hourly rates, no scope creep. And if you find a lower price elsewhere, we will match it.
My books are behind and my previous accountant left things in a mess. Can you still help?
Catch-up work is something we handle regularly. Once you get in touch, we will review what you have, identify what needs to be done, and quote for the clean-up separately before starting. There is no obligation and no pressure. Most contractors arrive with books in some state of disarray and leave with considerably less to worry about.
Is there a long-term contract or minimum commitment?
No. There is no lock-in and no minimum term. One-off annual filings are exactly that — one-off. For ongoing services such as bookkeeping, we work on a rolling monthly basis. If it is not working, you can leave at any point and your books and records will be handed over cleanly.
Can you review my contracts for IR35 and advise on my status?
We can discuss your working arrangements, review the key indicators — control, substitution, and mutuality of obligation — and give you a clear view of where your contracts sit. We will not give you a definitive legal determination (that requires an employment lawyer), but you will leave the conversation knowing your risk exposure and what, if anything, needs to change.
How do you help me pay myself as tax-efficiently as possible?
For most IT contractors operating through a limited company, the standard approach is a low director salary to use your personal allowance and National Insurance thresholds, with the remainder taken as dividends. The optimal figures depend on your annual profits, any other income, and your personal circumstances. We review this as part of your year-end work and advise before you draw funds, not after.
