Sound familiar?

Still not sure what your tax bill is this year?

Self Assessment is one of those things that sits on the to-do list until January, when suddenly it is very urgent and possibly also late. Most people are not entirely confident they are claiming everything they are entitled to, and a surprising number file with errors they never find out about. It is manageable — it just rarely gets managed.

  • Deadline looming and paperwork still not pulled together
  • Allowances and reliefs probably being missed without knowing it
  • Paying for an accountant who charges far more than the job warrants

What a sorted return looks like

A fixed £150 fee covers the full Self Assessment process — from gathering your figures to submitting the completed return to HMRC. You know the cost upfront, the allowances are checked properly, and the deadline is not your problem.

  • Return prepared and filed before the deadline — nothing left to the last minute
  • Every applicable allowance and relief reviewed and claimed correctly
  • Fixed £150 fee — no hourly rates, no unexpected invoice at the end
  • Payments on account explained clearly so next year holds no surprises

What you get

What the £150 fixed fee covers

One fixed price, no hidden extras. Everything needed to file an accurate, compliant Self Assessment return with HMRC.

01

SA100 and SA302 Preparation

Your personal tax return is prepared in full — income from employment, self-employment, property, dividends, or any combination. The SA302 tax calculation is produced alongside it so you have a clear record if needed for a mortgage or any other purpose.

Included at £150
02

Allowances and Reliefs Checked

Applicable personal allowances, trading allowances, and any eligible reliefs are reviewed and applied before the return is filed. Most people filing without an accountant leave money on the table — not because the system is complex, but because the questions are easy to miss.

Included as standard
03

Payments on Account Explained

If payments on account apply to your return, they are calculated and explained clearly so the amount due in July and the following January is not a surprise. Advice is included where there is a reasonable case to reduce them.

Why Wings Online Filings

Why choose us over any other accountant

The price matters. So does getting the return right. Here is what makes the difference.

💷

Fixed £150, no surprises

The fee is published and fixed before you commit to anything. There are no hourly rates, no add-ons for complexity, and no invoice that arrives higher than expected. If you find a lower price elsewhere for the same service, we will match it — that is the price match promise.

📋

Plain English, not accountant-speak

The return is explained in terms that make sense — what the figures mean, why certain allowances apply, and what to expect from HMRC next. Most accountants file and move on. We make sure you understand what has been filed and what comes next.

Qualified accountants, HMRC-compliant

Returns are handled by qualified accountants supervised under HMRC Anti-Money Laundering regulations, with Professional Indemnity Insurance in place. The firm is also ICO-registered and ACSP-registered with Companies House — the full compliance infrastructure of a regulated practice, at a fixed affordable fee.

Getting started

Your return filed in four steps

The process is designed to require as little from you as possible. Most clients are done in under a week from first contact.

1

Request your free quote

Fill in the short form on this page or call 020 8089 1876. Tell us a little about your income sources and tax year. There is no obligation and no charge for the initial conversation.

2

Send us your figures

We will tell you exactly what we need — P60s, invoices, bank statements, rental income records, or whatever applies to your situation. No need to organise it perfectly beforehand; we work with what you have and ask targeted questions to fill any gaps.

3

We prepare and check the return

Your SA100 is prepared, allowances are reviewed, and the tax calculation is produced. You will see the return before it is submitted and can ask questions about any figure. Nothing is filed without your approval.

4

Filed — and you are done

The return is submitted to HMRC and you receive confirmation. Your tax bill is clear, the deadline is met, and the paperwork is off your plate. Which is, frankly, the way it should be.

Questions

Things people usually want to know

I have income from multiple sources — employment, freelance work, and some rental income. Can you handle all of that in one return?+

Yes. A Self Assessment return can cover employment income, self-employment income, rental income, dividends, capital gains, and other sources — all in a single SA100. We work with mixed-income returns regularly and will confirm exactly what documentation is needed for your situation before we start.

What is included in the £150 fee and are there any extras?+

The £150 fixed fee covers preparation of your SA100 and SA302, review of applicable allowances and reliefs, payments-on-account advice, and submission directly to HMRC. There are no hourly rates and no add-ons for standard complexity. If your situation involves something genuinely specialist — such as an EIS claim or a capital gains disposal requiring a separate return — we will tell you before starting and agree any additional fee upfront.

My records are not in great shape. Will that be a problem?+

Not unusually. We will tell you what information we need and work with what you have. Where records have gaps, we ask targeted questions to establish the right figures rather than asking you to reconstruct everything from scratch. If the situation requires catch-up bookkeeping before the return can be completed, we will quote that separately and clearly.

Do I have to commit to an ongoing service or sign a long-term contract?+

No. The Self Assessment service is a fixed one-off annual fee. You are not signing up to a monthly retainer or a rolling contract. Many clients return each year because the process is straightforward and the price is consistent, but that is entirely their choice.

What if HMRC queries something on the return after it has been filed?+

HMRC enquiries are relatively rare for straightforward returns, but they do happen. If HMRC raises a question about a return we have prepared, we will respond on your behalf and explain the position. If the enquiry develops into a formal investigation, we offer HMRC investigation support — we will discuss the options and any associated cost at that point.

Can you tell me in advance what my tax bill is likely to be before you file?+

Yes. We produce the full tax calculation before the return is submitted, so you can see exactly what is owed — and when — before anything is filed with HMRC. If payments on account are due in July or the following January, those are included in the calculation and explained clearly. There are no numbers that arrive without warning.
