Self Assessment Tax Return Accountant
Your self assessment tax return, done properly.
Most people put their tax return off until January, then spend a weekend hunting through bank statements hoping nothing is missing. It does not have to work that way. - Fixed fee of £150 — no surprises, no hourly billing
- All allowances and reliefs claimed on your behalf
- SA100 and SA302 prepared and submitted to HMRC on time
- Know your tax bill well before HMRC sends the reminder
No long-term contract required. If it is not the right fit, you leave with your return filed and nothing further owed.

Sound familiar?
Still not sure what your tax bill is going to be?
Self assessment catches a lot of people out. Income from multiple sources, allowances you are not sure you qualify for, payments on account you did not see coming. The deadline feels distant until it does not, and by then the filing is rushed and the numbers feel uncertain. That is a fairly common situation, and it is largely avoidable.
- ✕ Unsure which income sources need declaring and which do not
- ✕ Allowances and reliefs missed because the rules are not straightforward
- ✕ Surprise payments on account arriving with no prior warning or planning
What a properly filed return looks like
We review your income, claim every allowance and relief you are entitled to, and file your return well ahead of the deadline. You receive a plain-English summary of what was filed and why your bill is what it is.
- ✓ Every income source reviewed and declared accurately from the outset
- ✓ Applicable allowances and reliefs identified and claimed on your behalf
- ✓ Payments on account explained and factored into your cash flow planning
- ✓ Fixed fee of £150 — one-off annual fee, no ongoing commitment required
What self assessment clients say about us
Two clients whose tax returns we handled — one individual filing, one business owner new to self assessment. Both in plain English, both on time.
Absolutely brilliant service. Prads is so efficient and knowledgeable. For the first time I feel well supported and informed over my self assessment returns and tax advice in general. Thank you
Prads was very fast and communicative with my personal annual filing.

Why clients choose us over other tax return accountants
Three things that make a material difference when you are choosing someone to handle your personal tax return.
£150 Fixed Fee, No Hidden Costs
The price is published and it does not change. SA100 preparation, SA302 calculation, all allowances reviewed, and HMRC submission are included in the one-off fee. If we cannot beat any written quote from a comparable UK practice, we will match it.
Plain English, Not Just a Filed Form
You receive a clear summary of what was included in your return, what allowances were claimed, and why your tax bill is the figure it is. Most clients say it is the first time they have actually understood their own tax position.
Qualified Accountant, Not a Software Portal
Your return is prepared by a qualified ACA accountant with over seven years of experience across sole traders, directors, landlords, and contractors. There is no automated tool and no offshore processing — just a qualified person reviewing your numbers.
Up and running in four straightforward steps
The process from first contact to filed return is designed to take as little of your time as possible.

Share your income documents
We will send a simple checklist of what we need — employment income, self-employment figures, rental income, dividend vouchers, and any other relevant sources. Everything is shared securely online, no post required.
We prepare and review with you
We prepare your SA100 and SA302, identify all applicable allowances, and send you the draft return to review before anything goes to HMRC. Any questions at this stage get answered the day you ask them.
Filed, confirmed, and done
Your return is submitted to HMRC and you receive confirmation with a plain-English summary of your tax position. Your bill is no longer a guess — you know exactly what it is and when it is due.
“Prads and the team made filing our accounts so easy. They were patient, knowledgeable, responsive and good to work with. We would highly recommend them.”
Common questions about self assessment tax returns
I have income from multiple sources — employment, freelance work, and a rental property. Can you handle all of that in one return?
Yes. A single SA100 can include income from employment, self-employment, UK property, dividends, savings interest, pension income, and capital gains. We review each source, apply the correct treatment, and ensure the right reliefs are claimed against each. You do not need to work out which boxes apply — that is the job.
What does the £150 fixed fee actually include?
It covers preparation of your SA100 personal tax return and SA302 tax calculation, review of all applicable allowances and reliefs, advice on payments on account, and submission to HMRC. There are no add-on charges for multiple income sources or a second review. If your situation is unusually complex — for example, overseas income or a disposal of assets — we will tell you upfront before any work begins.
My records from last year are not in great shape. Is that a problem?
It is not uncommon. We will tell you exactly what we need and in what format, and work with whatever you have. If records are incomplete, we will flag what is missing and suggest a practical way to reconstruct it rather than making assumptions. Catch-up work of this kind is handled regularly.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No. Self assessment is priced as a one-off annual fee. You engage us for the current tax year, we file your return, and that is the extent of the commitment. If you want us to handle the following year, you simply come back. There is no rolling contract and nothing to cancel.
What is the deadline for filing my self assessment return, and what happens if I miss it?
The online filing deadline is 31 January following the end of the tax year. Missing it results in an automatic £100 penalty from HMRC, with further penalties if the delay continues. We file well ahead of the deadline as standard — and if you come to us late in the season, we will be direct about whether there is enough time to file on your behalf before the cut-off.
How far in advance will I know what my tax bill is going to be?
Once your return is prepared and reviewed, you will know your exact liability before we submit it. For most clients, that means knowing the figure weeks or months before the January payment date rather than the night before. We also explain any payments on account due in July so there are no mid-year surprises.
Stop guessing what your tax bill is. Get it filed.
