Sound familiar?
Still not sure what your tax bill will be?
London business owners tend to be good at running their businesses. Keeping up with HMRC deadlines, corporation tax calculations, and self assessment returns is a different skill set. Most people get by until they do not, and by that point there is usually a penalty or a missed allowance making things more expensive than they needed to be. That is not unavoidable. It is just what happens when tax is left until last.
- Corporation tax return filed at the last minute with no planning
- Self assessment deadline approaching and figures still unreconciled
- Unsure which expenses are allowable and how much tax is owed
What on top of things looks like
Your tax returns prepared accurately, your allowances claimed, and your liabilities visible well in advance. No scrambling at deadline. No surprise bills. Just clear numbers and a reliable accountant who already knows what needs doing.
- Corporation tax prepared, planned, and filed with time to spare
- Self assessment completed early so you know your bill months ahead
- Allowable expenses reviewed and every legitimate relief claimed
- Fixed fees published upfront, so cost is clear before you begin

What makes working with us straightforward
Three things that matter most to London business owners looking for a reliable online accountant.
Qualified, regulated, and accountable
Wings Online Filings is run by qualified accountants and is an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) registered with Companies House, AML-supervised by HMRC, and covered by professional indemnity insurance. You are not handing your tax affairs to an unregulated bookkeeper. That distinction matters when HMRC comes calling.
Fixed fees, no surprises
Core filings have published fixed fees: £150 for self assessment, £250 for company accounts and corporation tax, £70 for a confirmation statement. You know the cost before you commit. For ongoing or specialist work, a quote is provided upfront before anything begins.
Plain English, not jargon
Every piece of work comes with a clear explanation of what was done and why it matters for your business. You will not receive a set of accounts you cannot read. Understanding your own numbers is part of the service, not an optional extra.
Up and running in four straightforward steps
Most clients are set up and their first filing underway within a week. Here is what the process looks like from your side.

Share Your Records
Send across your financial records in whatever state they are in. If they need tidying up first, we will tell you what that costs before starting. There are no hidden catch-up fees added later.
We Handle the Work
Your accounts, tax return, or VAT filing is prepared accurately and reviewed before submission. We handle the HMRC and Companies House communications. You are kept informed at each stage, without being buried in paperwork.
Filed, confirmed, and clear
Your filing is submitted on time and you receive confirmation. More usefully, you know exactly what you owe, what you have filed, and what is due next. That is considerably less to think about than before you called.
“Working with Wings Online Filings Ltd has been an absolute pleasure. They are highly communicative, supportive, and provide a responsive, cost-effective service that perfectly suits my small architecture practice.”
Things London business owners usually ask
Do you actually work with London businesses, or is this just a location page?
We serve clients across the UK entirely online, including a good number of sole traders, limited companies, and contractors based in London. All work is handled remotely by video call, email, and cloud accounting software. There is no need to visit a physical office, and the service is exactly the same as for any other client we work with.
What does it cost and what is included in the fee?
Self assessment returns are a fixed £150, company accounts with corporation tax are £250, confirmation statement filing is £70, and dormant company accounts are £50. Each fee includes preparation, submission to HMRC and Companies House where applicable, and a review of allowances and reliefs. Bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll are quoted based on your specific requirements before any work begins.
My books are in a bit of a state. Can you still help?
Yes. Most new clients arrive with records that need some degree of tidying before a return can be filed. We will review what you have, tell you clearly what catch-up work is needed and what it costs, and then get on with it. There are no unexpected charges added after the fact.
Is there a long-term contract or a minimum commitment?
No. One-off filings have a fixed fee with no ongoing obligation. For ongoing services such as bookkeeping or payroll, there is a rolling monthly arrangement with reasonable notice to end it. If things are not working, you leave with your books in order and nothing outstanding.
I have income from multiple sources. Can you handle a more complex self assessment?
Yes. We regularly prepare returns for clients with employment income, rental income, dividends, freelance earnings, and capital gains all in the same tax year. The fixed £150 fee covers standard returns. If your return is more involved, we will confirm the price with you before starting.
Can you help me reduce my tax bill, not just file it?
Tax planning is included as part of the company accounts and corporation tax service, and we offer standalone tax planning for individuals and businesses. The aim is to make sure your structure, allowances, and timing are working as efficiently as they can. We will not promise savings we cannot evidence, but there are often straightforward steps that significantly reduce what you owe.
Get your tax sorted, properly this time.
We handle the filings, the HMRC correspondence, and the compliance. You get clear numbers, a known tax bill, and considerably less to worry about each year.
