Sound familiar?
Still not sure what your tax bill is going to be?
Most London freelancers and sole traders approach their self assessment the same way: leave it until December, scramble through bank statements, hope the numbers add up, and submit something close enough. The result is usually a return that misses reliefs, arrives late, or triggers a payment on account that catches them completely off guard. It is not a disaster, but it costs more than it should.
- Tax return filed late or rushed, with reliefs left unclaimed
- No idea what the January payment will be until HMRC sends the bill
- Income from multiple sources making the return feel unmanageable
What a properly handled return looks like
Your return is prepared by a qualified accountant who reviews your income, checks every allowance you are entitled to, and submits well before the deadline. You know your tax position before HMRC asks for it.
- Every applicable relief claimed, return filed accurately and on time
- Tax bill calculated and explained months before the January deadline
- Income from employment, freelance work, property, or dividends all handled together
- Fixed fee of £150 for the full return, with no add-on charges for complexity
What London clients say about their returns
We work with sole traders, freelancers, directors, and landlords across London on self assessment every year. Here is what two of them said.
Absolutely brilliant service. Prads is so efficient and knowledgeable. For the first time I feel well supported and informed over my self assessment returns and tax advice in general. Thank you!
Prads was very fast and communicative with my personal annual filing.
Everything your self assessment covers
The fixed £150 fee covers your full return from start to finish. There is no separate charge for multiple income sources or payments-on-account advice.
SA100 and SA302 Prepared Accurately
Your personal tax reports are prepared by a qualified accountant who reviews your figures before anything is submitted. We work through your income, expenses, and applicable allowances to make sure the return is correct the first time, not corrected later.
Included in the fixed feeYour Tax Bill Visible in Advance
Once the return is prepared, you know exactly what you owe and when it is due, including any payments on account for the year ahead. There is no guessing and no waiting for a letter from HMRC to tell you what you missed.
No surprises on the deadlineAllowances and Reliefs Reviewed
Mileage, home office use, professional subscriptions, pension contributions, the trading allowance: these are easy to miss when you file in a hurry. We check what applies to your situation and claim it correctly, which is how the return pays for itself.

What makes the difference in practice
There are plenty of online accountants. Here is what the clients who switch to us tend to notice.
Your Tax Position Explained, Not Just Filed
Submitting the return is the easy part. What most people actually want is to understand what they owe, why, and what they could do differently. We explain your figures in plain terms, including what your payments on account mean for the months ahead, so you are not guessing between now and January.
Qualified Accountants, Properly Regulated
Wings Online Filings is an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) registered with Companies House and supervised by HMRC for anti-money laundering purposes. We hold professional indemnity insurance and work to the same standards you would expect from any regulated practice, delivered remotely rather than from a local office.
A Fixed Fee With Nothing Hidden
Your self assessment is £150 for the full return: SA100, SA302, multiple income sources, allowances reviewed, and submission to HMRC. That is the total. If your situation is more complex, we will tell you before we start. Found a like-for-like quote elsewhere? Show us and we will try to match it.

Fill in the short form on this page or call us on 020 8089 1876. We will confirm the fixed fee and let you know exactly what we need from you. No obligation at this stage.
Send Us Your Information
We will ask for the income and expense details relevant to your return. Most clients send these across by email or through a shared folder. There is no specialist software required on your side.
We Prepare and Review Your Return
A qualified accountant prepares your return, checks your allowances, and calculates your tax liability. We send you a summary to review before anything is submitted, so you can see the figures and ask any questions.
Filed and Done
Once you confirm, we submit to HMRC. You receive confirmation of filing and a clear summary of what you owe and when. Your January deadline is covered and your tax position is visible, which is more than most people have going into the new year.
“Professional, efficient, confidence that everything is taken care of.”
Things people usually ask before getting started
I have income from several sources: employment, freelance work, and a rental property. Can you handle all of that in one return?
Yes. The £150 fixed fee covers your full SA100 regardless of how many income sources are included. Employment income, self-employment, dividends, rental income, and savings interest all sit on the same return. You will not be charged extra because your situation has more moving parts than average.
What does the £150 fee actually cover, and are there any add-ons?
The £150 covers preparation of your SA100 and SA302, review of applicable allowances and reliefs, calculation of your tax liability including payments on account, and submission to HMRC. There are no add-on charges for multiple income sources or for explaining your figures. If your situation is genuinely unusual, we will let you know before we start, not afterwards.
My records for last year are in a bit of a state. Is that a problem?
Not especially. We work with clients who arrive with bank statements, a shoebox of receipts, or a spreadsheet they are not confident in. We will tell you what we need and work with what you have. If records are missing, we will flag it and advise you on the most practical way forward rather than leaving you to figure it out.
Is there a contract, and what happens if I decide not to continue next year?
There is no ongoing contract for the self assessment service. Each return is a one-off engagement. If you want us to handle next year’s return, we are here. If you decide to go elsewhere or do it yourself, you leave with your return filed and all your records intact. Nothing is owed beyond the agreed fee.
I am based in London but you are an online practice. Does that affect how we work together?
It makes very little practical difference. We serve clients across the whole of the UK entirely remotely, including a good number in London. Communication is by email, phone, or video call at a time that suits you. Documents are exchanged securely online. There is no requirement to visit a physical office and no London-specific surcharge.
Can you advise me on reducing my tax bill, or is it just a filing service?
We review your allowances and reliefs as a standard part of preparing the return, so if there is something you have missed, it will be picked up. For more involved tax planning, such as timing income, pension contributions, or managing payments on account across tax years, that is something we can discuss alongside the return. The goal is that you know your tax position clearly and have had the opportunity to consider your options.
