Sound familiar?
Running a business in East London is busy enough.
Whether you are trading in Bethnal Green, contracting in Canary Wharf, or building something from Hackney, the accounts rarely look after themselves. Most business owners know they should be on top of their tax position before deadlines arrive. Most are not. Bookkeeping slips, VAT quarters stack up, and self assessment becomes a last-minute scramble rather than a planned exercise.
- Tax deadlines arriving before you have had time to prepare the figures
- Unsure what you owe HMRC until the bill actually lands
- Books behind, receipts in a pile, no clear picture of how the business is doing
What sorted looks like
When the books are current and the compliance is handled, you know where you stand. Deadlines become non-events. Your tax position is visible months in advance, not hours before it is due.
- Deadlines tracked and filings completed well before they fall due
- Your tax bill calculated and communicated early, with time to plan
- Books kept current every month, so the year-end is straightforward
- Fixed fees published upfront, so you know exactly what you will pay

What makes this practice worth calling
There are plenty of accountants available to East London businesses. Here is what makes the difference in practice.
Fixed Fees, No Hidden Costs
The most common compliance filings carry published fixed fees: company accounts and tax return at £250, self assessment at £150, confirmation statement at £70, and dormant company accounts at £50. You know the cost before we start, and there is nothing added on at the end. For ongoing services such as bookkeeping and payroll, we quote based on your requirements before any work begins.
Numbers Explained, Not Just Filed
A filed tax return or a set of accounts that you cannot read is only half the job. We explain what the figures mean in plain terms: what your tax bill will be, why it is that figure, and what, if anything, can be done about it. Business owners who understand their numbers make better decisions, which is why we treat the explanation as part of the service.
Regulated and Properly Qualified
Wings Online Filings is an Authorised Corporate Service Provider registered with Companies House and supervised by HMRC for anti-money laundering purposes. The practice holds professional indemnity insurance and is accredited with Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, and Sage. You are working with a qualified accountant, not a bookkeeper offering to file your returns on the side.
Up and running in four steps
Most clients are onboarded within a few days. The process is straightforward and the first step costs nothing.
Request a Free Quote
Fill in the short form on this page or call us on 020 8089 1876. Tell us what you need, whether that is a one-off filing or ongoing support, and we will come back with a clear fee the same day. No obligation to proceed.
We Agree the Scope
Once you are happy with the quote, we confirm exactly what is included and what the deadlines are. If your books need catching up first, we will tell you that upfront along with what it involves, so there are no surprises further down the line.
You Share the Information
We connect to your accounting software or you send us the records you have. Everything is handled securely online. You do not need to travel anywhere or prepare anything in a particular format. If something is missing, we will ask for it specifically rather than leaving you to guess what we need.
Filed, Done, Move On
Your accounts, tax return, or VAT submission is prepared, reviewed, and filed. You will receive confirmation of what was submitted and what, if anything, is due to HMRC. From that point, the filing is off your plate and the next deadline is tracked. Which is, frankly, the way it should be.
“Professional, efficient, confidence that everything is taken care of.”
Things East London business owners ask us
Do you actually work with businesses in East London, or is this just an address?
We work with businesses across the whole of the UK entirely online, including sole traders, limited companies, and contractors based in East London. There is no office to visit and no need to travel. Everything is handled remotely by video call, email, and secure document sharing. We do not have a presence in East London specifically, but the service we provide to businesses there is identical to the service we provide everywhere else.
What does it cost, and what is included in the fee?
For the most common filings, we publish fixed one-off fees: company accounts and corporation tax return at £250, self assessment tax return at £150, confirmation statement at £70, and dormant company accounts at £50. Each fee includes preparation, any applicable tax planning, and submission to HMRC and Companies House as required. For ongoing services such as bookkeeping, VAT returns, and payroll, fees vary by volume and we quote before any work begins. There are no add-on charges for standard correspondence or questions.
My books are behind and I have not filed for a year. Can you still help?
Yes. Clients arriving with books in some state of disarray is not unusual, and it is one of the things we handle regularly. We will review what you have, tell you clearly what catch-up work is needed and what it costs, and then get everything in order before filing. We do not charge more than the agreed fee once the work is underway, so you will not be handed an expanded invoice mid-job.
Is there a long-term contract or a minimum commitment?
No long-term contract. For one-off filings such as a self assessment or company accounts, you pay a fixed fee for the work and there is no ongoing commitment. For monthly services such as bookkeeping and payroll, we ask for reasonable notice if you wish to stop, but there is no minimum term. If it is not working for any reason, you leave with clean, up-to-date records and nothing further owed.
Can you handle both my personal self assessment and my limited company accounts?
Yes. Most of our clients with a limited company also need a personal self assessment for their director’s salary and dividends, and we handle both. The company accounts and CT600 are filed at £250 and the director’s self assessment at £150. Having both handled together means nothing is missed at the crossover between the company and your personal tax position, which is where errors most commonly occur.
How far in advance will I know what my tax bill is?
We aim to complete year-end accounts and corporation tax returns well before the statutory deadline, which means you typically know your tax position several months before payment is due. For self assessment, we work through the return as soon as the tax year closes rather than waiting until January. Knowing the figure early gives you time to set the money aside or, where relevant, to consider whether any legitimate planning steps apply.
Get your accounts and tax handled properly.
A fixed-fee quote, a clear scope, and a qualified accountant handling the filings. No long-term contract, no surprises on the invoice, and no jargon in the explanations.
