Sound familiar?
Still not sure what your accounts actually look like this year?
For most business owners, year-end accounts sit at the bottom of the list until a deadline notice arrives. By that point the books may be months behind, receipts are scattered, and the Companies House filing date is closer than it should be. A late filing penalty from Companies House starts at £150 for a private company and increases the longer the accounts remain outstanding. That is before HMRC adds interest to any late corporation tax.
- Deadline approaching with no clear picture of the year’s figures
- Books behind and no time to catch everything up before filing
- Unsure what corporation tax is owed or when it falls due
What sorted looks like
We gather the figures from your bookkeeping software or bank records, prepare the statutory accounts and corporation tax computation, and file everything with HMRC and Companies House before the deadline. You get a plain-English summary alongside the formal documents.
- Your accounts prepared and filed well before the Companies House deadline
- Catch-up bookkeeping handled if the records need tidying before we start
- Corporation tax calculated, payments on account explained, nothing left unclear
- Fixed fee from £250 for limited company accounts and CT600, with no hidden extras
What clients say about filing their accounts with us
Business owners across the UK use Wings Online Filings to get their year-end accounts filed correctly and on time, without the last-minute scramble.
Prads has been exemplary in assisting with all the paperwork and guiding me to access the relevant codes from Companies House to facilitate submission of both Accounts and HMRC tax information. Prads was extremely patient and supportive to meet the deadlines and offered specialised advice on company matters. Thank you for your expedient delivery and diligence.
Working with Prad is an absolute lifesaver as someone just starting out in the business world. Being new to everything, it can feel incredibly overwhelming, but Prad makes the whole process straightforward and stress-free. His knowledge of UK accounting and HM Revenue & Customs is second to none, and he always takes the time to explain things clearly rather than leaving me confused.
Everything included in the year-end accounts fee
The fixed fee covers the full statutory filing, not just one document. Here is what is included as standard for a limited company.
Statutory Accounts Prepared and Filed
We prepare the full set of statutory accounts including profit and loss account and balance sheet, formatted to meet Companies House requirements. For most small companies this means micro-entity or small company accounts. Everything is filed directly with Companies House on your behalf.
Included as standardCorporation Tax Return (CT600)
The corporation tax computation and CT600 are prepared alongside the accounts and submitted to HMRC within the same engagement. We identify any reliefs or deductions that apply so you pay the correct amount, no more. Your payment deadline and any payments on account are explained clearly.
Included as standardPlain-English Summary and Tax Advice
Alongside the formal documents, you receive a clear summary of your profit, tax position, and any points worth noting for the year ahead. If anything in the figures warrants a conversation before we file, we flag it. You will not receive a set of accounts and a bill with nothing explained.
Included as standardRated Excellent on Trustpilot by UK business owners
Clients range from first-time directors filing their initial accounts to established businesses switching from a previous accountant. The feedback is consistent.
Switched Accountants and Never Looked Back
“Working with Wings Online Filings Ltd has been an absolute pleasure. They are highly communicative, supportive, and provide a responsive, cost-effective service that perfectly suits my small architecture practice. I switched from another accountant about a year ago and haven’t looked back since.”
Affordable, Reliable Support for Small Businesses

Knowledge and Professionalism Made Strong Impression

What turned out to be initially a small one off audit appears to be evolving to a long-term relationship and I have great confidence in this company delivering services reliably and promptly.”
What makes the difference when your accounts are on the line
There is no shortage of accountants offering to file your year-end accounts. Here is what sets this firm apart in practice.
Filed on Time, Every Time
Companies House late-filing penalties are avoidable, and we treat your deadline as a firm commitment rather than a target. Once we have everything we need, we set a clear timeline and keep you informed at each stage. You will know the filing date before we start, not after.
Numbers Explained, Not Just Filed
Most clients receive a signed set of accounts and a tax bill with no explanation. We do it differently: the figures are explained in plain terms alongside the formal documents, so you know what drove the profit, what the tax figure represents, and what to watch for next year. No jargon, no assumptions about your prior knowledge.
Regulated, Qualified, and Insured
Wings Online Filings is an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) registered with Companies House and AML-supervised by HMRC. The work is carried out by qualified accountants and the firm holds professional indemnity insurance. Those are not marketing points: they are the baseline you should expect from any accountant handling your statutory filings.
Your accounts filed in four straightforward steps
The process is designed to take as little of your time as possible. Most clients spend less than an hour on their side before we have everything we need.
Get a Quote
Fill in the short quote form or book a call. We will confirm the fee upfront based on your company type and the state of your records. No obligation and no vague ‘from’ pricing: you know the cost before anything starts.
Share Your Records
You send us access to your bookkeeping software, bank statements, or whatever records you have. If the books need tidying before we can start, we will tell you clearly and quote for any catch-up work separately. Nothing is assumed.
We Prepare and Review
We prepare the statutory accounts, corporation tax computation, and CT600. Before filing anything, we send you a clear summary for review and approval. If there are questions or points to discuss, we resolve them at this stage.
Filed, Done, Confirmed
Once approved, we file with both HMRC and Companies House and send you the confirmation receipts. Your accounts are on the public register, your tax return is submitted, and the deadline is behind you. Which is, frankly, where it should be.
“Professional, efficient, confidence that everything is taken care of.”
What people usually ask before they get started
What types of business do you prepare year-end accounts for?
We prepare statutory accounts for UK limited companies (including micro-entities and small companies), sole traders, LLPs, and dormant companies. If your business falls outside those categories, tell us when you request a quote and we will confirm whether we can help. We do not have a minimum turnover threshold.
What does the fixed fee cover, and are there any additional costs?
For a standard limited company the fixed fee is £250. That covers preparation of the profit and loss account and balance sheet, the corporation tax computation, the CT600, and submission to both HMRC and Companies House. The fee assumes your bookkeeping is reasonably current. If catch-up work is needed before we can start, we will quote for that separately and agree it before proceeding. There are no other hidden charges.
My books are behind. Can you still help, and how does that affect the cost?
Yes, this is a common situation and not a problem. We will review what you have and give you a clear quote for any catch-up bookkeeping required before we prepare the accounts. Some clients come to us with twelve months of transactions to reconcile; others just need a few months tidied. Either way, you will know the full cost before any work begins.
Is there a minimum contract or lock-in period?
No. Year-end accounts are priced as a one-off annual fee, so there is no ongoing contract attached to this service. If you would like us to handle your bookkeeping, VAT, or payroll on a continuing basis, that is available separately and quoted accordingly. You are not required to take any additional services to get your accounts filed.
What happens if I am switching from a previous accountant?
Switching is straightforward. We contact your previous accountant for the working papers and prior-year figures we need, which is standard practice and your right as a client. You do not need to be involved in that correspondence if you would rather not. We will confirm what we need from you and take it from there.
Can you advise on reducing my corporation tax bill before the accounts are finalised?
Yes, and this is worth doing before the accounts are approved rather than after. As part of preparing the accounts we review your tax position and flag any reliefs, deductions, or timing points that may be relevant. For more structured tax planning beyond the annual return, we offer a separate advisory service and can discuss that on the same call.
