Sound familiar?
Your filing deadline is closer than it feels.
Year-end accounts sit on the to-do list until the deadline is genuinely close, then it becomes a scramble to pull everything together. The numbers need to balance, the tax needs to be right, and two separate filings go to two separate government bodies. Most business owners know they cannot afford to get it wrong, which is exactly why so many leave it too late.
- Accounts deadline looming with no clear picture of what is owed
- Unsure whether your bookkeeping is in good enough shape to file
- No time to work out whether you are claiming every allowable deduction
What a properly handled year-end looks like
You send us what you have. We review it, ask the right questions, prepare the accounts, and file everything on your behalf. You see a clear summary before anything is submitted, so there are no surprises.
- Deadline managed from our end, with plenty of notice on what is due
- Books reviewed and tidied before preparation begins, so the numbers are right
- Allowances and reliefs checked as standard, not as an afterthought
- Fixed fee quoted upfront so cost is clear before any work starts
What clients say after their year-end
These are real reviews from business owners who came to us with their annual accounts. Some were organised; others were not. Both kinds work fine.
Prads has been exemplary in assisting with all the paperwork and guiding me to access the relevant codes from Companies House to facilitate submission of both Accounts and HMRC tax information. Prads was extremely patient and supportive to meet the deadlines and offered specialised advice on company matters. Thank you for your expedient delivery and diligence.
Working with Wings Online Filings Ltd has been an absolute pleasure. They are highly communicative, supportive, and provide a responsive, cost-effective service that perfectly suits my small architecture practice. I switched from another accountant about a year ago and haven’t looked back since.
Everything included in the annual accounts fee
The year-end service covers preparation, filing, and tax in a single fixed fee. There is nothing extra to authorise once the quote is agreed.
Statutory Accounts Preparation
We prepare a full set of statutory accounts including your Profit and Loss account and Balance Sheet, formatted to the correct UK standard for your entity type. Whether you are a micro-entity, a small limited company, a sole trader, or an LLP, the accounts are prepared to the right specification. You review and approve before anything is filed.
Included as standardCorporation Tax Return (CT600)
For limited companies, the corporation tax computation and CT600 are prepared alongside the accounts and submitted to HMRC as part of the same process. Tax planning is included as standard: we check that available allowances and reliefs have been applied before submitting. You know your tax liability before the deadline, not after.
Included for limited companiesCompanies House and HMRC Filing
Statutory accounts are filed at Companies House and the tax return is submitted to HMRC, both on your behalf. We handle the two separate filings and keep records of what was submitted and when. If Companies House or HMRC have questions after submission, we deal with that too.

What makes the difference at year-end
Most accountants can file your accounts. What varies is how clearly they communicate, how early they flag problems, and whether the fee makes sense for what you actually get.
You know the cost upfront
Limited company accounts and the corporation tax return are a fixed £250, including CT600 preparation, HMRC and Companies House filing, and tax planning. There is no ambiguity about what is covered. If your situation is more complex, we quote before starting, not after.
Numbers explained in plain English
Before filing, you receive a clear summary of what the accounts show and what your tax liability is. We explain what the figures mean in plain terms, not accounting shorthand. Business owners consistently say this is the part they did not expect to find useful but do.
Qualified, regulated, and properly insured
Our accountants are qualified and the firm is an Authorised Corporate Service Provider registered with Companies House, AML-supervised by HMRC, and covered by professional indemnity insurance. This matters for year-end work because the filings carry legal weight and need to be right.
Your year-end accounts sorted in four steps
The process is straightforward. You provide the information; we do the work. Most clients spend less than two hours on their side from start to finish.

Use the form on this page or call us. Tell us your entity type, the accounting period, and roughly where your books are at. We will confirm the fee and what we need from you before anything else happens.
Send Us Your Records
Share your bookkeeping, bank statements, and any relevant documents securely online. If your books are not fully up to date, let us know at this stage. We will advise on what catch-up work is needed and what that costs before proceeding.
We Prepare and Review with You
Our accountants prepare the statutory accounts and, where applicable, the corporation tax computation. You receive a clear summary for review and approval. Any questions at this stage get answered before submission.
Filed. Done. Move on.
Once approved, we file the accounts at Companies House and the tax return with HMRC on your behalf. You receive confirmation of both submissions and a record of what was filed. Your year-end is done for another twelve months.
“Professional, efficient, confidence that everything is taken care of.”
Things people usually ask us first
What exactly is included in the year-end accounts service for a limited company?
The fixed £250 fee covers preparation of the Profit and Loss account and Balance Sheet, the corporation tax computation, the CT600 return, and submission to both HMRC and Companies House. Tax planning is included as standard, meaning we check available allowances and reliefs before filing. There are no add-on charges for the filing itself.
How much does it cost, and is the fee the same regardless of turnover?
Year-end accounts and the corporation tax return for a limited company are a fixed £250 one-off annual fee for straightforward cases. More complex situations, such as group structures, LLPs, or CICs, are quoted individually before any work begins. Sole trader accounts and self assessment are a fixed £150. We confirm the fee in writing before starting, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
My bookkeeping is a bit behind. Can you still prepare my accounts?
Yes, this is common. Many clients come to us with incomplete or disorganised records. Let us know the situation when you get in touch and we will advise on what catch-up bookkeeping is needed and what that costs separately before we proceed. It is better to flag it early than to discover it part-way through.
Is there a contract, or can I just use you for this year’s accounts?
There is no long-term contract. You can engage us for a single year-end filing with no obligation to continue. Many clients do come back year after year, but that is because the service works, not because they signed anything committing them to it.
How long does it typically take from sending you my records to the accounts being filed?
Turnaround depends on how complete your records are when we receive them. For clients with tidy bookkeeping, the process typically takes two to four weeks from receipt of information to filed accounts. If catch-up work is needed first, we will give you a realistic timeline at the quote stage. We always work to the statutory deadline, and we flag upcoming deadlines in advance rather than waiting for them to become urgent.
Can you advise on reducing the corporation tax bill, not just filing the return?
Yes. Tax planning is included in the year-end fee rather than treated as a separate advisory charge. Before filing, we review allowable expenses, capital allowances, and any other reliefs applicable to your business. If there are more involved tax planning opportunities, such as R and D credits, EIS, or director remuneration structuring, we will raise them and quote for any additional work separately.
