Sound familiar?

Still not sure what your company owes this year?

Most limited company directors are not accountants, and that is entirely reasonable. But it means year-end accounts and corporation tax tend to sit at the bottom of the list until a deadline makes them urgent. By then, the numbers are harder to pull together, the choices are fewer, and the stress is avoidable. There is a more sensible way to handle it.

  • Corporation tax deadline approaching and accounts are nowhere near ready
  • Unsure what your company can legitimately claim before year end
  • No idea what accountancy should cost or what is actually included

What handled properly looks like

We prepare your annual accounts, corporation tax return, and confirmation statement each year, explain what the numbers mean, and file everything on time. You know what is owed and why, and you are not chasing a deadline alone.

  • Annual accounts and CT600 filed on time, with no last-minute scramble
  • Tax planning included, so allowances are claimed before the year closes
  • Fixed fee of £250 published upfront, no invoice surprises afterwards
  • Confirmation statement filed separately for £70, or combined if preferred

We prepare your profit and loss account, balance sheet, and CT600, then submit to both HMRC and Companies House. Tax planning is included as standard, so allowances and reliefs are considered before the return is filed. Fixed fee of £250, one-off, per year.

Why Wings Online Filings

What makes this different from most accountants

Fixed fees, qualified accountants, and plain-English communication, all delivered remotely so there is no office to visit and no time wasted.

📋

Fixed fee, published in advance

The £250 annual fee covers accounts preparation, corporation tax (CT600 and computation), submission to HMRC and Companies House, and tax planning. There are no add-ons that appear on the invoice that were not mentioned beforehand. What is quoted is what is charged.

🏛️

ACSP-registered with Companies House

Wings Online Filings is an Authorised Corporate Service Provider registered with Companies House and AML-supervised by HMRC. That means the firm meets the regulatory requirements to file on your behalf and to act as your accountant under UK law. Professional indemnity insurance is in place.

💬

Numbers explained, not just filed

Most limited company directors want to understand their accounts, not just receive a confirmation email when filing is done. We explain what the figures mean, what you owe and when, and what can be done differently next year. Useful information, delivered plainly.

Getting started

Up and running in four straightforward steps

The process is designed to be simple from your side. Most clients are set up and have their accounts underway within a few days of first contact.

1

Request a Free Quote

Fill in the short form on this page or call us directly. We will confirm the fixed fee and what it covers based on your company’s situation. No commitment required at this stage.

2

Share Your Records

We tell you exactly what we need, whether that is a bookkeeping file, bank statements, or access to your accounting software. If your records are disorganised or behind, say so and we will tell you what catch-up work, if any, is needed and what it costs.

3

We Prepare Everything

Your accounts, CT600, and any other filings are prepared by a qualified accountant. We send the draft to you for review before anything is submitted, so you can ask questions and understand what you are signing off.

4

Filed on time, nothing outstanding

Once approved, we submit to HMRC and Companies House and confirm everything is done. You know what tax is owed and when it is due. Your next deadline is noted, and we contact you when it approaches.

Questions

Things limited company directors usually ask

What exactly is included in the £250 company accounts fee?+

The fee covers preparation of your profit and loss account and balance sheet, the corporation tax return (CT600 and supporting computation), submission to both HMRC and Companies House, and basic tax planning to identify any reliefs or allowances before filing. Director’s self assessment (SA100) is separate and quoted at £150 if needed. There are no bolt-on charges for email correspondence or minor queries during the process.

My books are behind. Can you still help, and what will it cost?+

Yes. Many clients come to us with records that need organising before accounts can be prepared. We review what you have, tell you what catch-up work is needed, and quote for it separately and upfront before any work begins. There are no surprises. The annual accounts fee stays the same once the books are in order.

I already have an accountant. How do I switch?+

Switching is straightforward. Once you engage us, we contact your previous accountant to request the professional clearance letter and any relevant files. You do not need to handle that conversation yourself. Most switches are completed without any disruption to ongoing compliance.

Is there a minimum contract or tie-in period?+

No. The annual accounts and CT600 are a one-off fixed fee, so there is no contract to sign. If you use ongoing services such as bookkeeping or payroll, those are arranged on a month-by-month basis. You can stop at any point and your records will be handed over in good order.

Do you handle dormant company accounts as well?+

Yes. If your company has not traded during the year, dormant accounts are simpler and are priced at £50. We prepare the dormant balance sheet, file it to Companies House, and confirm HMRC is notified of the company’s dormant status if that has not already been done.

Can you advise on tax planning before my year end, not just after?+

Basic tax planning is included in the annual accounts fee. If you want more detailed advice on timing, profit extraction, salary versus dividend, or capital allowances, we can discuss that as part of the accounts process. More complex planning work, such as capital gains or EIS advice, is quoted separately.
