“Having someone I can fully trust to handle my filings means I can focus on actually growing my business rather than drowning in paperwork.”

Sound familiar?

Still not sure what your tax bill is going to be?

Self assessment catches a lot of people off guard, not because the numbers are complicated, but because nobody ever walked them through it properly. The deadline arrives, the figures look uncertain, and the whole thing gets filed in a rush or not at all. HMRC’s late filing penalties start on day one after the deadline, and they do not make exceptions.

  • Leaving the return until January and scrambling to gather a year of records
  • Not sure which expenses count, so claiming nothing and overpaying tax
  • Payments on account come as a surprise, doubling what you expected to owe

What a properly handled return looks like

We take the information you have, ask the right questions, and produce an accurate return well before the deadline. You see your tax position clearly and know exactly what to pay and when.

  • Records gathered and reconciled early, return filed with time to spare
  • Every allowable expense and relief identified and claimed correctly
  • Payments on account calculated and explained upfront, no surprises in July
  • Fixed fee of £150, one-off, with no hidden charges or add-ons

Working with Prad is an absolute lifesaver as someone just starting out in the business world. Being new to everything, it can feel incredibly overwhelming, but Prad makes the whole process straightforward and stress-free. His knowledge of UK accounting and HM Revenue & Customs is second to none, and he always takes the time to explain things clearly rather than leaving me confused.

What you get

What your £150 fixed fee covers

One flat fee covers the full return, from pulling your figures together to confirming submission with HMRC. No extras for multiple income sources.

01

SA100 and SA302 Preparation

We prepare your personal tax return and tax calculation in full, covering employment income, self-employment profits, rental income, dividends, and any other sources. You do not need to work out which boxes apply to you. We handle the form; you review and approve the figures.

Included in the fixed fee
02

Allowances, Reliefs, and Deductions

We go through your income and expenses to identify every allowance and relief you are entitled to claim, from the trading allowance and mileage rates through to pension contributions and gift aid. Anything missed is money overpaid to HMRC. We check it properly.

Included in the fixed fee
03

Payments on Account Advice

If HMRC requires payments on account for the following tax year, we calculate them and explain what you will owe and when, so the amounts in July and January do not catch you off guard. If there are grounds to reduce them, we advise on that too.

Why Wings Online Filings

What makes this different from filing it yourself

These are the specific things that change when a qualified accountant handles your return rather than you doing it alone at midnight in January.

📋

Your Tax Bill Known Early

We do not wait until January. Once you share your records, we work through the return and confirm your tax position well before the deadline. You know what you owe, when to pay it, and whether any adjustment is possible. That is considerably more useful than a last-minute surprise.

🔍

Nothing Left Unclaimed

Most people who file their own returns miss something, not through carelessness but because the rules are not obvious unless you work with them daily. We check your income against the full list of available reliefs and deductions before the return goes in. What is claimable gets claimed.

📞

A Person You Can Actually Reach

Questions get answered by the person who prepared your return, not a call centre. If HMRC writes to you after submission, we help you respond. The service does not end when the return is filed.

Getting started

Your return sorted in four steps

The process is straightforward. Most clients spend less than an hour on their side of things. We handle the rest.

1

Get a Free Quote

Fill in the short form or call us. We confirm the fixed fee, ask a few questions about your income sources, and let you know what we will need from you. No commitment required at this stage.

2

Share Your Records

We send you a simple checklist of what we need, bank statements, invoices, payslips, or whatever applies to your situation. You share them securely online. If something is missing or unclear, we ask rather than guess.

3

We Prepare the Return

A qualified accountant prepares your SA100 and SA302, checks every income source, applies all relevant allowances, and calculates your tax liability including payments on account. You review the figures and approve before anything goes to HMRC.

4

Filed, Confirmed, Done

We file the return with HMRC and send you confirmation. You know your tax bill, you know the payment dates, and the return is off your plate for another year. Which is, frankly, the way it should be.

Questions

What people usually ask before getting started

Who needs to file a self assessment tax return?+

You need to file a self assessment if you are self-employed, a company director, a landlord, or if you have untaxed income above £1,000, income over £100,000, or capital gains to report. If you are not sure whether you need to register, we can confirm that in the initial conversation at no charge.

What does the £150 fixed fee include?+

The £150 covers preparation of your SA100 personal tax return and SA302 tax calculation, covering all income sources, identification and application of allowances and reliefs, advice on payments on account, and submission to HMRC. There are no add-on charges for a second income source or for correspondence with HMRC after filing.

My records are not in great shape. Can you still help?+

Yes, though the more complete your records, the smoother the process. If your figures need some work before we can prepare the return accurately, we will tell you upfront and agree what that involves. We would rather take a bit longer to do it properly than file something inaccurate.

Is there any ongoing commitment if I use you for my self assessment?+

None. Self assessment is priced as a one-off annual fee. You are under no obligation to use us for anything else, and there is no contract locking you in. Most clients do come back the following year, but that is entirely their choice.

I have both employed income and self-employment income. Does that cost more?+

No. The fixed fee covers all income sources on a single return, including employment, self-employment, rental income, and dividends. If your situation is particularly complex, for example multiple businesses or overseas income, we will confirm that at the quoting stage before you commit.

Can you help me reduce my tax bill, not just file the return?+

We check every available allowance and relief as part of the standard service, so you are not leaving money with HMRC unnecessarily. For more involved tax planning, for example timing income, pension contributions, or a capital disposal, we can discuss that separately and advise on what is worth doing before the return is filed.
