We are Xero Bronze Partners, QuickBooks ProAdvisors, and FreeAgent and Sage accredited. That means we already know the platform you are using, or the one that suits your business best. You will not need to explain how your software works before getting a useful answer.

Most clients are set up within a week. There is very little for you to do beyond the first conversation.
Tell us about your business
Fill in the quote form or book a call. We will ask about your business type, transaction volume, the software you use (or want to use), and whether the books are current or need catching up. Five minutes of information is usually enough to give you a clear, fixed quote.
Agree the scope and price
We will send you a written quote covering exactly what is included and what it costs. No ambiguous monthly packages. If the books need catch-up work first, that is priced separately and clearly before anything starts.
We take over the bookkeeping
Once you are onboarded, we connect to your cloud accounting software and start working through the records. You share access, we handle the rest. Monthly, we reconcile, categorise, and update. You are not expected to chase us.
Clean books, every month
From that point, your books are current and your numbers are readable. Year-end does not arrive as a crisis because the records are already in order. You know where the business stands, and so do we.

Things people usually ask before getting started
Which cloud accounting software do you use, and do I need to switch?
We work with Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, and Sage. If you are already on one of these, we connect and take it over without disruption. If you are on spreadsheets or something else entirely, we can help you migrate to a platform that suits your business and set it up correctly from the start. We will not recommend a switch unless there is a good reason for it.
How is bookkeeping priced and what is included?
Bookkeeping is priced by quote because the cost depends on how many transactions you have each month and what software you are using. We will give you a clear, written figure before anything starts, covering exactly what is included. If you have a backlog that needs catching up first, that is quoted separately. There are no ongoing surprises once the scope is agreed.
My books are months behind. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Catch-up bookkeeping is something we do regularly. The first step is understanding how far behind the records are and what software is involved. From there, we give you a fixed price for the catch-up work before we start, and once that is done we move into a regular monthly service. Most clients arrive with books in some state of disarray and leave with considerably less to worry about.
Is there a minimum contract or lock-in period?
There is no long-term contract. Bookkeeping is provided on a rolling monthly basis and you can stop at any point. If you do leave, you take your records with you in a format you can use. The work completed to that point is charged at the agreed rate, and nothing more.
Can you take over from my current bookkeeper or accountant?
Yes. We handle the transition, which usually involves requesting access to your cloud software and any relevant records from your previous provider. Professionally managed handovers are straightforward. If there are gaps or inconsistencies in the records we inherit, we will flag them clearly and agree on how to address them before moving forward.
Will my bookkeeping feed into my VAT returns and year-end accounts?
It should, and with us it does. Clean, well-categorised books mean VAT returns are straightforward to prepare and year-end accounts do not require a last-minute scramble to find missing information. If you need VAT returns or annual accounts alongside bookkeeping, we can cover those too.
