Sound familiar?
Not sure what your tax bill is going to be?
Personal tax gets complicated faster than most people expect. A salary from employment, freelance income on the side, rental income, dividends from a limited company: each adds a layer, and HMRC’s January deadline has a way of arriving before everything is ready. Most people either leave money on the table by missing allowances, or file in a rush and hope for the best.
- Filing your own return and unsure if you have claimed everything correctly
- No idea what your January payment will be until it lands
- Multiple income sources making the return harder to get right
What a properly handled return looks like
We take the information you have, work out what you owe and what you can claim, and file before the deadline. You are told the figure well in advance, with a clear breakdown of how it was calculated.
- Every allowance and relief reviewed so nothing is left unclaimed
- Your tax liability calculated and explained months before it is due
- Multiple income sources handled as part of a single, complete return
- Fixed fee of £150 for a standard Self Assessment return, no hidden costs

What the Self Assessment service covers
A complete personal tax return service for individuals, sole traders, freelancers, directors, and anyone with income outside of PAYE.
Personal Tax Return Preparation
We prepare your SA100 and SA302 using the information you provide. That covers employment income, self-employment profits, dividends, rental income, capital gains, and any other taxable sources. You receive a clear summary before anything is submitted.
Included as standardAllowances, Reliefs and Planning
Your return is reviewed for every allowance and relief that applies to your situation: personal allowance, marriage allowance, pension contributions, business expenses, and payments on account. Nothing is left on the table through oversight.
Included as standardHMRC Filing and Deadline Cover
Once you have approved the figures, we file directly with HMRC and confirm submission. Filing deadlines are tracked from the moment you come on board, so late-filing penalties are not something you need to think about.
Included as standardClients across the UK, consistent results
Sole traders, directors, property investors, and freelancers. The situation varies; the standard of service does not.
Explained Everything Clearly, No Stress

Patient, Knowledgeable, Met Every Deadline

Professional, Efficient, Everything Taken Care Of
“Professional, efficient, confidence that everything is taken care of.”
What sets this service apart
There are plenty of accountants who will file your return. Fewer will explain what it means, flag what you can claim, and tell you your bill before January arrives.
You know your bill early
We calculate your liability as part of preparing the return, not after filing. You receive a clear figure and a plain-English breakdown before anything is submitted to HMRC. That means no January shock, and enough time to set money aside if needed.
Fixed fee, no hidden additions
A standard Self Assessment return is £150, one-off. That price covers preparation, review, and filing. More complex returns with multiple income sources are quoted in advance, so you know the cost before work begins.
Qualified accountants, properly regulated
All work is handled by qualified accountants. Wings Online Filings is an Authorised Corporate Service Provider registered with Companies House, AML-supervised by HMRC, and covered by professional indemnity insurance. Your return is in competent, accountable hands.
Your return sorted in four steps
The process is straightforward. Most clients spend less than an hour gathering information before we take over completely.

Fill in the short form or call us. We will confirm the fee and what we need from you before any work begins. No obligation at this stage.
Send us your information
We give you a clear list of what is needed: P60s, self-employment income, expenses, any rental figures, and so on. Everything is collected securely online. If something is missing or unclear, we will ask rather than guess.
We prepare and review
Your return is prepared, every relevant allowance is applied, and your tax liability is calculated. You receive a summary to review and approve before anything is filed. Questions at this stage are answered the same day.
Filed, confirmed, done
Once you approve the figures, we file with HMRC and send you the confirmation. You know exactly what you owe and when to pay it. The return is finished, the deadline is covered, and you are free to get on with things.
“Working with Wings Online Filings Ltd has been an absolute pleasure. They are highly communicative, supportive, and provide a responsive, cost-effective service that perfectly suits my small architecture practice. I switched from another accountant about a year ago and haven’t looked back since.”
Things people usually ask before getting started
I have several income sources, including employment, freelance work, and rental income. Can you handle all of that in one return?
Yes. We handle returns with multiple income sources as a matter of course: employment income from P60s, self-employment profits and expenses, rental income from residential or commercial property, dividends, capital gains, and more. You send us what you have and we work out how it all fits together. If the return is more complex than a standard filing, we will say so upfront and quote accordingly.
What does the service cost and what is included?
A standard Self Assessment return is £150, one-off. That covers preparation of your SA100 and SA302, a review of applicable allowances and reliefs, and filing with HMRC. Returns with more complex income, significant capital gains, or multiple rental properties are quoted individually before any work begins. There are no add-on charges for communication or questions during the process.
My records are not in great shape. Is that a problem?
It is fairly common. We will tell you exactly what we need and work with what you have. If some figures need to be reconstructed from bank statements or estimates, we will flag that and explain the implications. Catch-up or clean-up work may carry an additional charge, but you will know the cost before we start.
Do I have to commit to an ongoing service or can I use you for a one-off return?
A one-off return is fine. There is no requirement to sign up for a monthly package or ongoing contract. Many clients start with a single return and come back the following year, but that is entirely your choice. If you want ongoing support, we can discuss what that looks like once the first return is done.
What if I have already missed the filing deadline?
A late return is still worth filing as soon as possible: penalties increase the longer it remains outstanding. We handle late returns regularly and will file as quickly as your information allows. We cannot remove penalties that have already been issued by HMRC, but we can help you get compliant and avoid the situation recurring.
Can you help me understand my payments on account and whether they are set correctly?
Yes. Payments on account are often set based on a prior year that no longer reflects your income, which means you can end up overpaying or underpaying. As part of preparing your return, we will review whether your payments on account are appropriate and advise on whether a reduction claim is worth making.
Get your tax return done properly this year.
A qualified personal tax accountant, a fixed fee from £150, and a return filed well before the January deadline. No rushing, no guesswork, no surprises.
